César Peña (29 años) estudió hostelería, pero hace un par de años —justo antes del estallido de la pandemia— los Reyes Magos le trajeron una plancha eléctrica y ese regalo, inesperadamente, le ha cambiado la vida. Durante el confinamiento empezó a hacer burgers y en febrero de 2022 creo la mejor hamburguesa de España, llevándose a Galicia esa misma plancha, se ha impuesto en el II Campeonato de España de Hamburguesas.


A Peña siempre le habían gustado las hamburguesas, pero su pasión se desató con la llegada del COVID-19. "Al principio tuvimos que hacer un poco el canalla y se las vendíamos a gente conocida, pero poco a poco empezamos a cocinar en casas para 10-20 personas y fueron saliendo asesorías".

Animado por su triunfo en el campeonato, el cocinero se desliga del anterior establecimiento y crea su propio restaurante "CESAR´S BURGERS"
